I’m a small business, fit into the nooks and crannies of my busy life. I love a good laugh and enjoy making others smile. As you shop through my items, know that you are getting a glimpse of various things I love. Funny magnets, tea towels, notebooks, redone furniture and perhaps eventually a section for buying home grown meats, herbs and veggies.
I’ve become passionate about local and homemade small businesses and by locking arms, feel we can all be lifted up and support our dreams and our families. This store is my place for creativity, building relationships with people with similar interests and hopefully inspiration for someone else wondering if people would like what they dream of sharing with others.

For years I’ve pondered what to do when “I grew up.” One thing I’ve always wanted was to be my own boss, to get to work from home and not have to leave my kids everyday to go work a job. This system never felt right or frankly, normal. Finally, after much wasted time and energy on my own limiting beliefs and self doubt, I took the plunge and created Gibbs’ Goods & Home Decor. Since 2017 it has taken on a different shape, but I feel it is more authentic and true to me and my beliefs. This has made it more fun and exciting, rather than driven by a need to make money to be able to justify a move away from my career. So please follow and come along for the always changing adventure as I bring what I love to you, as well as a sprinkling of humor. Because who doesn’t need that?
